We offer the following MoR training courses:
M_o_R Management of Risk describes a robust framework for managing risks at strategic, programme, project and operational perspectives.
M_o_R Management of Risk is a recent addition to the UK Office of Government Commerce best practice portfolio, and was developed by the private sector in response to the Turnbull Report and other influences.
The M_o_R Management of Risk approach complements the MSP programme management and PRINCE2 project management methodologies and is of growing importance across public and private sectors.
M_o_R Management of Risk outlines a route map for effective risk management, which incorporates:
- The 12 Principles - what to do and why
- The 4 step risk process
- Approaches to the 4 perspectives - when and how to do things
- The 8 areas of Techniques - supporting skills
- The 6 Appendices - substantial supporting material for day-to-day implementation.
There are two M_o_R Examinations, the Foundation and the Practitioner:
Foundation
A multiple-choice paper containing 45 questions to be answered in 45 minutes. This is a closed-book examination.
Practitioner
A case study question to test comprehension of the method, to be answered in 3 hours. Paper based reference material can be used during this exam. Pre-reading material is issued just before the exam, and candidates are given an additional 30 minutes reading time before the paper begins.

M_o_R is written primarily for Business Managers, process owners, strategic planners, project and procurement teams, business continuity planners and security teams are the primary audience for this guidance, together with their service providers.

The Management of Risk (MoR) Foundation course provides delegates with knowledge of MoR and prepares them for the MoR Foundation Certificate examination.
This course leads on to the MoR Practitioner course. The Foundation examination is 45 minutes long containing 45 multiple-choice questions.

The Management of Risk (MoR) Practitioner course provides delegates with a detailed understanding of MoR and prepares them for the MoR Practitioner Certificate examination.
The Practitioner examination is based on a case study and tests comprehension of the method, to be answered in 3 hours.
