Course
This course focuses on project management concepts and processes in line with the Association for Project Management (APM). These processes apply to any project that is related directly to business change irrespective of the organisation structure or environment. The content of the course is based on 25 topics areas taken from the APM Body of Knowledge (APMBoK), which itself represents the topics in which professionals in project management should be knowledgeable and competent.
The syllabus for the APMP for PRINCE2 Practitioners recognises the prior attainment of the PRINCE2 Practitioner Qualification and tests only those areas that have not previously been examined.

Subject
The Association for Project Management (APM) is the largest independent professional body of its kind in Europe with over 15,000 individual and 400 corporate members worldwide.
The APM has developed its own Body of Project Management Knowledge known as the APM BoK. This document, which is now in its fifth edition, contains a collection of 52 knowledge areas required to manage any project successfully.
Flowing naturally from this well-respected source of industry guidance is a broad range of Project Management qualifications aimed at all levels of responsibility within or associated with a project team. This qualification scheme encourages continuing professional development and provides added credibility to participating organisations and encompasses the following levels:
- Introductory Certificate
- APMP (IPMA Level D)
- Practitioner Qualification (IPMA Level C)
- Certificated Project Manager (IPMA Level B)
- APM Risk Management Certificates Level One and Two
Each project management qualification has been designed to build upon the previous level and thus provides a clear development path throughout your project career.
APM training and qualifications are an ideal choice for organisations in any industry sector that is looking to provide continuous professional development for their project managers.
